Collaborate With Us

Former Student Athlete is built around one clear mission: to help former student-athletes win the next chapter of their lives. If you are a brand, employer, organization, creator, or service provider looking to reach a purpose-driven audience and create meaningful impact, we welcome the opportunity to collaborate. While this page highlights the most common ways we partner, we are always open to new ideas. We are flexible, responsive, and easy to work with.

Former Student Athlete is a platform designed for former student-athletes navigating life after sports. We focus on the real transition topics people actually face once competition ends, including career and corporate life after athletics, health and wellness, wealth building and financial literacy, identity and mindset, and access to networking, community, and opportunities. Through long-form content, practical resources, and community-driven initiatives, we help former athletes level up personally and professionally.

We collaborate with organizations that meaningfully support former athletes and align with our mission. This includes employers and recruiters hiring former athletes, alumni associations and athletic departments, athlete development programs, universities, collectives, and foundations. We also partner with brands and products aligned with athlete lifestyles, as well as coaches, speakers, content creators, and trusted service providers across financial, legal, health, insurance, and career-focused fields. Event organizers and conference hosts working with athlete audiences are also a natural fit. If your mission centers on helping former athletes thrive beyond sports, there is likely a strong opportunity to work together.

Collaboration opportunities take many forms. We work with partners on sponsorships and brand partnerships that provide thoughtful exposure through sponsored content, newsletters, media features, and educational brand integrations. We also offer advertising and featured listings that place your organization in front of former athletes actively seeking career, health, wealth, and identity-related solutions. These partnerships are designed to deliver visibility while maintaining credibility and trust.

Content collaboration is another core area of partnership. We regularly co-create educational materials such as articles, interviews, webinars, workshops, guides, and video content with experts and organizations that bring real value to our audience. We also partner on events and speaking engagements, supporting campuses, conferences, and organizations through workshops, panels, keynote talks, and sessions focused on career transition, financial literacy, networking, and post-athlete identity.

For employers specifically, we offer targeted partnerships that help companies connect with former athletes. This can include featured job opportunities, recruiting events, employer spotlights, and storytelling that highlights why former athletes succeed within your organization. These partnerships are especially effective for companies building strong entry-level, early-career, and leadership pipelines.

We are selective about who we work with. We look for partners who are mission-aligned, athlete-respecting, community-first, transparent, and ethical. We prioritize substance over hype and collaboration over simple promotion. We protect our audience carefully, and if we promote a product, service, or opportunity, it must genuinely be worth their time and attention.

If you would like to collaborate, we invite you to reach out and start the conversation. When contacting us, please share your name and organization, the type of partnership you have in mind, your timeline, and a link to your website or social channels. If relevant, including a general budget range can also be helpful. Suggested email subject lines include Collaboration Inquiry, Partner With Former Student Athlete, or Sponsorship and Partnership Opportunity.
